Manos Misioneras has been working in the Monte Misionero since 2002 improving the quality of life and opportunities of its residents,

They do this through several actions:

For the children, providing transportation to school, providing shoes and other basic necessities, implementing a Reading and Writing Program for the students (DALE), organizing recreational and sports activities.

For the parents, the objective is to help them become self-reliant by providing sewing and crafts workshops and developing a sugar cane production and distribution enterprise.
