PROGRAMS

*DISABILITY PROGRAM

One of their main objectives is to provide professional assistance to people with disabilities that are in a situation of extreme poverty. Most of them are children and teenagers who do not even have a diagnosis. Added to this, there are no professionals in this community and the only clinic does not have the minimum resources. They are children who are isolated, unschooled, hungry and totally forgotten, not only because help does not arrive; but also because their own family, ignorant of how to treat them, leave them confined and abandoned. In addition , they do not have wheelchairs or equipment specific to each disability, not to change their reality, but to at least improve their quality of life. That is why they have also created an equipment bank in CASONA.
The results of the program are evaluated with individual reports from each child. There are 148 children and teenagers participating in this program.

PARAJES PROGRAM

Once a week, they bring the therapies to the different places (Fisco Chico, San Francisco and Donadeu) since they do not have the means to approach the CASONA in Campo Gallo. There are 26 beneficiaries of this program.

TRADES WORKSHOPS - they have managed to include children with disabilities in the Carpentry and Pastry workshops). "We believe in INCLUSION and in the tool of the TRADE for the opportunity"

• Sewing
They seek to develop the basic knowledge for the manufacture of different garments. In this workshop, women not only learn to make different garments and amend their own garments, but also to promote their economic autonomy. It is a meeting place where we work to strengthen the confidence and self-esteem of women. There are 30 women currently attending the workshop.

• Baking
The workshop is attended by 20 women together with adolescents with disabilities. They cultivate culinary knowledge in women who want to learn and/or improve what they have learned in their homes, including the presentation of the product for marketing. It is sought that each one can discover through different proposals, their gifts and talents, and be an incentive to strengthen their capacity for self-sustenance.

• Carpentry
Promotes the learning of a trade that allows them to deploy their potentialities and crafts. This workshop is aimed at children and adolescents and is currently attended by 15 children. This INCLUSIVE workshop gives them the possibility to develop as a social person and participate together with others in the productive life of their family and community.

All these programs take place in the Community Center or LA CASONA of GASEB in Campo Gallo, Santiago del Estero
